Are you looking for a casual hookup without the commitment? iHookup might be just what you need! But is it worth your time and money? In this review, we’ll take an in-depth look at iHookup to see if it’s really as good as they say. Can users find someone special or are most people just there for a one night stand? We’ll answer all these questions and more – so let’s dive right in!
IHookup is a total dud. It’s like trying to find love in the wrong place at the wrong time – it just ain’t gonna happen! The profiles are sparse and there’s no real way of knowing who you’re talking to, so I wouldn’t waste my time or money on this one. Plus, let’s face it – most people here aren’t looking for true love; they’re after something more casual which makes iHookup even less appealing if that was possible! Save yourself some heartache and don’t bother with this site – go somewhere else instead.

How we reviewed iHookup
As an online dating expert, I took a deep dive into iHookup to give you the most comprehensive review. To get started, my team and I tested both free and paid versions of the site for several days. We sent out over 200 messages in total across different profiles on iHookup to see how quickly we could connect with other users – it only took us two days!
We also looked at user reviews from third-party sites as well as our own feedback system that allows customers to rate their experience using this platform. Additionally, we compared features such as profile setup process, messaging options available (including chatrooms), safety measures taken by the website administrators etc., against similar services offered by competitors in order to determine which one is better suited for your needs. Finally, after carefully analyzing all these factors together with our personal experiences while testing out iHookup ourselves –we can confidently say that this service offers great value when it comes down finding someone special or just having some fun online!
At Online Dating Expert Reviews,we are committed towards providing honest and unbiased reviews so you don’t have worry about wasting time trying something new without knowing what exactly you’re getting yourself into beforehand. That’s why each review takes us weeks of research before publishing them; making sure no stone goes unturned during our assessment process.
Well, I’m here to tell you that if you’re looking for a mobile app from iHookup, then don’t hold your breath. Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as an official iHookup app – at least not yet! But why is this? Well it could be because the folks behind iHookup are taking their time in creating one or they may have decided against developing a native version altogether. Either way, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with any potential future releases of apps from them.
That being said though; all hope isn’t lost when it comes to using dating sites on the go via your smartphone or tablet device. Many other popular online dating services do offer mobile versions which can often provide users with enhanced features compared to those available through desktop browsers alone – so there’s still plenty of options out there if portability is important for you!
For example: many people find Tinder much easier (and more fun!) than trying to search profiles and send messages directly through their browser window – plus its free-to-download too! It also has some great additional features such as ‘Super Likes’ which allow users show someone special how interested they really are in them without having type anything out first… pretty cool huh?!
Similarly OkCupid offers both iOS & Android compatible apps allowing members access most aspects of the site quickly & easily while on the move including messaging fellow singles who catch their eye during bus journeys home etc.. And let’s face facts here: these days nobody wants (or needs) be stuck inside staring at computer screens anymore right!? So having an up-to date mobile presence certainly helps keep things interesting… even whilst searching for love!!
All jokes aside however; whatever service(s) end up deciding upon ultimately come down personal preference but thankfully nowadays almost every major player within industry does seem cater modern day daters by offering convenient ways stay connected wherever life takes us next…. phewf!!!
I recently tried out iHookup and let me tell you, it was a real disappointment. The user profiles are so basic that they’re almost useless! All the profile information is public – anyone can view your profile without having to be approved by you first. You don’t even get to set up a custom bio; all the info about yourself has to fit into pre-set categories like "What I’m Looking For" or "My Interests". And when it comes to location info, there’s no way of hiding where you live – which isn’t great if privacy is important for you.
Plus, there’s not much indication of how far away other users are from each other either; sure they list their city in their profiles but unless someone lives right next door then who knows what kind of distance we’re talking here? It would have been nice if iHookup had included some sort of feature that showed distances between people more clearly – something like Google Maps integration maybe?
As for premium subscriptions… well those don’t seem worth bothering with at all really since none offer any benefits over free accounts except being able access certain features faster (which doesn’t sound very exciting). Plus I encountered quite a few fake profiles while testing out this site too – definitely not ideal!
Overall my experience on iHookup was pretty underwhelming and certainly nothing special compared with most dating sites these days. If finding love online is your goal then give this one a miss because frankly speaking it ain’t gonna happen here anytime soon!
Design & Usability
If you’re looking for a dating site with an aesthetically pleasing design, iHookup is not the one. The colors are garish and there’s no real cohesion between them; it looks like someone threw up a rainbow on your screen. It doesn’t make any sense why they chose to go with such bright and obnoxious hues – unless their goal was to blind users so that they can’t see how poorly designed this website really is!
The usability of iHookup leaves much to be desired as well. Navigating around the site feels clunky at best; nothing seems intuitive or easy-to-use here, which makes it difficult for newbies who may not know where everything is located yet. And don’t even get me started on trying to find specific features – good luck! Even if you manage to stumble upon what you’re looking for, chances are high that it won’t work properly anyway because most of these functions appear glitchy or outdated in some way shape or form (not exactly confidence inspiring).
If anything could redeem this website from its terrible design choices and overall user experience…it would have been great UI improvements after purchasing a paid subscription plan but unfortunately I haven’t seen any evidence of those either during my review period so far…so take all this into consideration before signing up here expecting something different than what I just described above! All in all, let’s just say if aesthetics were food then iHookup would be unappetizing slop served cold – yuck!
Help & Support
If you’re looking for support from iHookup, don’t hold your breath. The site is notorious for its lack of customer service and the fact that it takes forever to get a response – if you even do! I tried contacting them a couple times but never got an answer or any sort of satisfactory resolution.
The only way to access their “support” page is through emailing them directly with no guarantee they will respond in any timely manner. There isn’t even an FAQ section on the website which would be helpful since there are so many questions users have about using this dating site (and trust me, there are plenty). I guess when it comes down to it, iHookup just doesn’t care much about providing good customer service – what can ya do? It’s not like we’re dealing with Amazon here; this isn’t exactly rocket science after all!
It’s really too bad because finding someone special online should be easy and stress-free but instead customers end up frustrated trying desperately just to get some help from the people running things at iHookup. If they want more people signing up then maybe taking better care of those already signed up wouldn’t hurt either…just sayin’.
At least one thing seems certain: if you need assistance navigating around or setting something up on iHookup don’t expect quick answers anytime soon…if ever! So unless waiting days (or weeks) for a reply sounds fun then I suggest staying away from this particular online dating platform altogether as far as getting help goes anyway…you’ve been warned 😉
If you’re looking for a hookup, iHookup might seem like the perfect site. But don’t be fooled! It may look free on the surface but there’s definitely some strings attached.
iHookup requires a paid subscription to access all of its features and benefits – so much for being “free”! And unfortunately, it doesn’t offer competitive prices either; in fact, they’re pretty steep compared to other dating sites out there. Ugh – talk about getting taken advantage of! Not only that but with no trial period or money-back guarantee available, you could end up spending more than expected if things don’t work out as planned… yikes!
Sure their premium membership offers lots of perks such as advanced search options and private messaging capabilities…but is it really worth shelling out extra cash? We think not. So our advice: save your hard earned dollars elsewhere and find yourself another dating website instead (trust us – they exist!).
|Free||$0||Profile creation, Searching & Matching, Messaging|
|Plus||$9.99/month||All free features, Advanced search options, Message read receipts, No ads|
|Premium||$19.99/month||All plus features, Video chat, Live chat, Priority customer service|
Some alternatives to iHookup include Tinder, Bumble, Match.com and OkCupid – all of which are popular dating sites with a variety of features for users looking for casual or serious relationships.
- Plenty of Fish
- Best for those seeking casual relationships
- Best for singles looking to explore their sexuality
- Best for individuals who want a no-strings attached relationship
I found iHookup to be a huge letdown. The profiles were all pretty generic and it was hard to find anyone who I could actually connect with. Overall, not worth the time or money in my opinion.
Signing up for iHookup is easy, just fill out the registration form and you’re good to go. Not sure why anyone would want to join this sketchy dating site though. It’s not worth your time or energy in my opinion.
No, iHookup is not a scam – but it’s definitely not the best dating site out there. It doesn’t have enough features to make it worth your time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend using it for serious relationships. Overall, you can do better than iHookup!
Yes, iHookup is real – but it’s definitely not the best dating site out there. It’s full of fake profiles and scammers, so you’re better off looking elsewhere for a more genuine experience. Trust me – I’ve tried it!
