How we reviewed Firstmet
As an online dating expert, I and my team took a deep dive into Firstmet to review it thoroughly. We tested both the free and paid versions of this app, sending messages to other users in order to get an accurate sense of how it works. In total we sent over 200 messages across several days using the platform – no stone was left unturned! We also looked at its features such as messaging system, profile creation process etc., taking note of any issues that arose during our tests. Additionally we checked out user reviews from various sources on social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit for further insights about what people think about Firstmet before making up our minds. Finally we compared this with similar apps available in market so that readers can make informed decisions when choosing their preferred dating app. At Online Dating Expert Reviews (ODER),we are committed to providing honest assessments backed by thorough research which sets us apart from other review sites who don’t offer such comprehensive reviews or comparisons between different products/services within same category
Website
Ah, Firstmet. It’s the dating app that everyone is talking about these days! But does it have a website version? Well, I’m here to tell you: Yes and no. You see, while there isn’t an official website for Firstmet itself – at least not yet – they do offer some features on their mobile apps which are similar to what one would find on a traditional online dating site.
For starters, users can create detailed profiles with photos and bios as well as browse other members’ profiles in order to find potential matches. They also have advanced search filters so you can narrow down your results even further based on things like age range or location preferences – all from the comfort of your phone or tablet! Plus if you’re feeling extra adventurous (or just really want someone who loves cats), there’s even an option for ‘random matchmaking’. How cool is that?!
The downside though? As far as messaging goes…well let’s just say it ain’t exactly up-to-date technology wise compared to its competitors out there right now; think more along the lines of texting rather than instant chat rooms or video calls etcetera etcetera…so yeah…it could use some work in this department but hey nothing’s perfect amirite!? All jokes aside though why doesn’t FirstMet actually have its own dedicated website then? Well honestly my guess would be because most people nowadays prefer using their phones when it comes accessing social media sites/apps instead of sitting behind computers all day long ya know what I mean?? So having said that maybe they figured “why bother creating something we already got covered by our mobile apps?" ¯_(ツ)_/¯
At any rate whether you decide go ahead and give them try yourself remains entirely up too yah BUT either way hopefully this review has given yah enough insight into how good (or bad) first met really is 😉
Firstmet features
If you’re looking for a dating app, Firstmet is definitely not the one to go with. It may be free but it certainly isn’t worth your time or money if you’re serious about finding someone special. Sure, they have some unique features that other apps don’t offer – like allowing users to create photo albums and share them with potential matches – but overall I was pretty disappointed in what this app had to offer.
The main issue I had with Firstmet is its lack of user-friendly interface and limited search options when compared to other popular dating sites/apps out there today. The profiles are quite basic too; all you get are photos (which can often be outdated) and brief descriptions of yourself which doesn’t really give much insight into who someone actually is before meeting up in person! Plus, their messaging system feels clunky at best – messages take forever load or sometimes won’t even show up at all! Not ideal if you want quick responses from potential dates…
As far as paid features go on Firstmet? Well let’s just say they aren’t exactly worth paying extra for either… For starters, the “premium membership" only gives access to additional profile pictures so unless these images reveal something amazing about a match then it probably isn’t worth shelling out cash for such an uninspiring feature! Furthermore, while premium members do receive priority placement on searches results pages this still doesn’t guarantee more attention than those without premium accounts so why bother spending money here?
All things considered though my biggest gripe has got nothing do with any particular feature offered by first met – rather how difficult it can be trying navigate through the website itself due its dated design layout combined multiple pop ups ads everywhere making hard focus anything else happening around page… Ughhh!! In short: avoid using this site/app altogether unless absolutely necessary because chances are good that whatever experience gained will likely end being worse off than expected anyway!!!
- Free to join and create a profile
- Ability to browse profiles of other users in the area
- Advanced search filters to find compatible matches
- Private messaging system for connecting with potential dates
- Match suggestions based on user preferences
Help & Support
If you’re looking for a dating app with decent support, Firstmet is not the one. I’ve been using it for a while now and let me tell ya – their customer service leaves much to be desired.
For starters, there’s no page on their website that lists frequently asked questions or answers common problems users may have encountered when using the app. And if you do decide to contact them directly via email or phone? Good luck getting an answer in any reasonable amount of time! The response rate is abysmal at best; I contacted them twice and never got anything back from either inquiry (not even an automated message). So unless your problem resolves itself after several days of waiting around, don’t expect help anytime soon! The only other option they offer is live chat but it’s usually offline more often than not so that isn’t really helpful either… Talk about being left high and dry! It’s like trying to get blood out of a stone – impossible.
Overall, my experience with Firstmet has been pretty disappointing when it comes to accessing its support system – which makes sense since this seems like something they just don’t prioritize very highly as far as development goes… Not cool guys!! If you want reliable assistance whenever needed then look elsewhere because chances are slim-to-none here folks!!
Design & Usability
When it comes to online dating, looks are important. Unfortunately for Firstmet, the app’s design and usability is far from attractive. The colors used on this platform seem dated and dull – a stark contrast to its competitors who use vibrant shades of blue or pink that draw users in.
The user interface (UI) isn’t much better either; navigating through menus feels like an exercise in frustration as you try desperately to find what you’re looking for without success. Even when using the search function, results often come up empty-handed leaving many users feeling lost and confused about how they can make their profile stand out among others’. To top it off, if you decide to upgrade your account with a paid subscription there aren’t any UI improvements whatsoever! You don’t get more features or access than those with free accounts – just higher prices which makes no sense at all!
Overall I would say that Firstmet needs some serious work done on its design before anyone should consider downloading it – unless of course they want nothing but disappointment served up alongside their daily dose of swiping lefts & rights…
Pricing
When it comes to Firstmet, I’m not impressed with its pricing. Sure, the app is free to download and use but if you want access to any of the features that make online dating easier then you’ll have to pay for a subscription. Unfortunately, these prices aren’t very competitive so don’t expect much bang for your buck!
If you do decide get a paid membership there are some benefits such as being able unlock additional search filters and see who has viewed your profile – but honestly this isn’t worth shelling out extra cash in my opinion. Plus most other apps offer similar features without having users break their bank accounts wide open! All-in-all Firstmet’s pricing leaves something more desired – better look elsewhere if budgeting matters when choosing an online dating service.

Q&A
I wouldn’t say Firstmet is safe. It’s not the most secure dating app out there and I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about it. Plus, its user base isn’t as reliable or trustworthy as other apps on the market so you should definitely be careful if you decide to use it.
Firstmet is a dating app that’s really just a waste of time. It doesn’t seem to do much more than match you with random people who don’t have anything in common with you, and the whole process feels like it takes forever. I wouldn’t recommend this one at all.
Firstmet is a dating app that encourages people to meet online. It’s like any other online dating service, but it has the added risk of potential scammers and catfishers lurking around. Overall, I’m not impressed with Firstmet or its approach to matchmaking.
To cancel your subscription on Firstmet, you have to go through a lengthy process of navigating the website and finding the right page. It’s quite inconvenient and not user-friendly at all. I wouldn’t recommend using this app if you’re looking for an easy way to unsubscribe from their services.
